Taip sako Savanorė Elza, jau aštuntą mėnesį savanoriaujanti bibliotekoje:

I am Elza, a volunteer  via Erazmus+ from Georgia. Already eight months working in the library. In Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University I am studying pedagogics. I hope the expierence I‘m getting here, will be usefull for me in the future. Also I‘m glad to be an ambasador of my country here and to present georgian culture here. (In library I organized Georgian culture evening).
Coming back from holiday I brought book „Komble“, a famous georgian fairy tale about a shepherd and his two sheep. Acording it, we did shadow theatre. We showed it for children in „Maminukų akademija“ and Liūdynė library. We created sheep from cardboard and the thread and were dancing georgian dances together with children.
It is a friendly environment in the library where I work. People of all ages come here. Especially I like that old people are actively reading  books. Children can play as computer games as difeferent games too. They spend free time cheerfully. On wednesdays small children, after listening tales, are doing various things that develop their skills. In this time I feel in love with the kids more.
 What I like in Lithuania? It is education system where children are not restricted, they are free to say and do whatever they want. Children learn many things even in  the kindergarden. As I know, they are  learning to do everything independenly. It is quite important in life.
Second thing I like is road rules – drivers are careful to drive their cars. It was very noticeable to me when I arrived:  every driver stopped their cars near the zebra where wasn‘t traffic light. Then I was going fast :)
I can say Lithuanians appreciate everything. They are full of energy and responsibly. Lithuanians are quiet people. They respect each other‘s decision.
Defferences: Lithuanian weather is cold, in Georgia  – warm ; georgians love spicy food, lithuanians don‘t;
lithuanians use many flowers everywhere, georgians do not; lithuanians keep many dogs, georgian less; in Lithuania salary is better than in  my country; in Lithuania education is beter than in my country; in Lithuania girls are more brave and open than boys, in Georgia the opposite; in Lithuania, adults are more motivated and active, georgian people have a closer relationship with each other.
I hope to discover and understand this country deeper.
Let us meet later...
